Gardening for Biodiversity

The 4B’s biodiversity initiative is sponsoring a programme of events and activities to encourage us to be more aware of the abundance and diversity of the plant and animal life we share with this place. The purpose is to discover new ways of helping wildlife to flourish and encourage residents to create their own small project - their act of resotorative kindness to the Earth.
PUBLIC TALK
Gardening for Biodiversity:

Helping our native plants and wildlife to flourish
Paul Rictchie, Sorbus Learning
The talk, given by biologist and nature activist Paul Ritchie, will provide practical and inspiring ways, of creating more space for nature in our own gardens, drawing on the things he has done in his own "Wildlife Wonderland" garden in Brockham.

After the talk there will be a short break for light refreshments and then there will be an opportunity to design your own mini project to enhance the biodiversity of your own garden.  The Biodiversity Park initiative is offering encouragement to residents in the form of small kits to help create new habitats, shelters and feeding stations for wildlife.
